MATERIAL WORLD

One of my treasured material posessions. A YSL bag that I bought a couple of months ago. It is made of leather and the colour resembles the upholstery of a car. Taupe. It is one of the most expensive things I had bought before but still A LOT cheaper than an Hermes Birkin that some people (Posh Spice) buy by the dozen. I like it because it's YSL and it looks like a cuddly thing, almost like a dog which I can't have due to some very unfortunate reasons.

Mission in life: Eat (a lot), sleep (very cutely) and to run away from me..of all my cats, this one is almost impossible for me to get close to. (sigh) Still...j'adore Phelics.

Malaysian Lunch

I love my Malaysian curries,being born and raised in Malaysia. My pantry here in Abu Dhabi is well stocked with Malaysian curry powders having visited my hometown recently. Today lunch consisted of chicken curry and mustard leaves with pickled fish...

My first posting!

I made this cake today. It was actually a two day process. The cake itself is just a basic sponge made with six eggs and scented with orange flower water. Then I generously splashed it with contreau and decorated it the next day (when the flavors had settled in the refrigerator and nicely chilled) with whipped cream and mandarins. I call it my Oriental Citrus Cake. Pictures will follow shortly...
